For LaTanya Rapp, she was capable of observe her passion twice, blazing a new career within the healthcare industry after a successful profession as a baker. LaTanya started working at a young age and was one of those lucky people who had a natural âknackâ for cooking. This first ardour gave her the opportunity to turn out to be a enterprise proprietor. After a few years of success together with her baking firm, LaTanyaâs mom fell sick with Alzheimerâs, and she closed her business to care for her mom. Her momâs sickness inspired a brand new ardour within the healthcare business. LaTanya began her new profession helping people with developmental disabilities. To advance within the healthcare industry, LaTanya knew she must participate in training, so she began exploring her choices when she was confro nted with new setbacks: her husband was laid off from his job and going again to highschool was no longer affordable. Despite her challenges, LaTanya remained decided and she turned to National Able Networkâs Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program for help. With the help and help of Career Coach Cheryl Travis, LaTanya enrolled in a medical billing and coding program at Rasmussen College. âBeing a part of the program helped me keep on monitor and know that I am in a position to fulfill all of my goals as a result,â LaTanya mentioned.
